Angel Olsen

Angel Olsen is an American singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis, Missouri living in Asheville North Carolina. Olsen is the author of six albums which include: Big Time Burn Your fire for No Witness My Woman, and Mirrors Half Way Home. Mothers are naturally drawn to with raising their children. Her parents adopted her at age 3 and cared for her from birth. I was more interested in their childhood because we are separated by so many years. As a young person I imagined what life was like back in the decades between 1930 and 1950. My personal life. The 16th of April, 2021 Olsen made public her gay identity. Olsen disclosed in 2022 her separation from Adele Thibodeaux and revealed she had a relationship with musician Meg Duffy, a long-time relationship. Olsen was born and grew up in St. Louis Missouri, started performing in local coffee shops in her teens. Soon after, she branched out as well as joining a band of musicians. In 2006, she moved to Chicago and collaborated with Californian musician Emmett Kel in The Cairo Gang. All Mirrors, her previous album, released in 2019, incorporated the dark, gothic sound of synth rock as well as moving excursions into orchestral pop. On Big Time the first album on which Olsen sings consciously about queer desire she turns towards a genre that is notably traditional: country. In a way, it's acceptable.
